Choices! Choices! Election 2008

October 20th, 2008 |

http://www.leforstribe.com/

Hello! It is election time. It is nice that we have the opportunity to vote for our country’s leaders such as state governors, congressmen/women, legislatures, and so on. I would like to share my thoughts on this upcoming election.

Often in elections, we have two candidates competiting against each other.  Sometimes, for one candidate I support, he/she have issues that I disagree and prefer another candidate’s perspective on these issues. If you are a die-hard democrat or republican, you will agree with everything one candidate has in mind but that’s not me. I like some issues one candidate has and some other issue the other candidate has. So, how do I figure out which candidate to vote for?

I think the bottom point comes to our identity. People vote according to their identity. If I identify myself as a “Deaf” person, I will, of course, find out which candidate has a better  view of Deaf and how he/she plans to support and contribute to our needs. If I identify myself as a business owner, I will, of course, look into which candidate’ supports people who own businesses. If I identify myself to my own race; black, white, hispanic, and etc, I will, of course, pick which candidate has more value on my race. If I view myself as a wealthy man, a very high class man, I will look for which candidate will give me an advantage.  If I’m a hunter, I will look into which candidate supports NRA, the right to use guns. There is a lot of different identities.

My identity is: “In Christ”. When I became born again, my identity became of Christ’s. I have a new identity and that is Christ in me. My identity in order, with the first on my list, is being a Christian. My second identity is being a husband, and third being that I am a father. My 4th, that I am a jock, haha, really, I’m teasing.

Now, as my identity in Christ, I’m a Christian, what important issues should I look into to be able to select which candidate I should vote for? Economy? Hmm, the economy is pretty important, but let’s see what the Scriptures says about economy.

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my House, and test Me now in this,” says the Lord, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.” -Malachi 3:10

“But my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” -Philippians 4:19

Those two Scriptures tells us that God will take good care of His people. Those who tithe faithfully and follow God’s commandments regarding to money will be blessed. God enjoys blessing His children so with the economy of the candidates will not affect me because my economy source comes from God. God is my supplier. So for the economy issue, that is put aside.

What about health care? Insurances? Hmm…

“…And by His stripes, we are healed.” -Isaiah 53:5

“and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross…for by His wounds, you were healed.” -1 Peter 2:24

My health does not come from the doctor. My health does not come from a good insurance coverage. My healthy life comes from God’s provision through Jesus Christ. God provided, through His mercy and love, for us to have good health. So, health care is not a primary issue for me so that is put aside.

Now, hmm, what about war? Iraq? Is this a primary issue for us? Let’s see.

“And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not frightned or troubled, for this must take place, but the end is not yet.” -Matthew 24:6

“For nations will rise against nations, kingdoms against kingdoms…” -Mark 13:8

The Scriptures show clearly that Jesus said wars will happen and countries will fight against countries. In the “Last Days” it gets worse. Can we stop this from happening? No. Can we help the situation get better? Maybe yes. We can defend America better, yes. But is war a primary issue for us Christians to look into? I think it is not.

Now, Economy isn’t a primary issue for a Christian to look into. Health Care/Insurance isn’t a primary issue to look into either and so is war. Now, what issues are primary?

My priorities as a Christian is to look into the lives of both candidates and how they relationship with God is like– their Walk– their everyday life.

Now, America brings us two men; McCain and Obama.

Now, this is from what I know. I do not know in depth of their personal lives because I have not shook hands with them nor hung out with them. This is only from what I know by reading information about them. As far as now, I’m not impressed with both of them. I don’t feel thrilled that one of them is a president candidate.

McCain goes to a baptist church but he has rejected several pastors’ endorsements. McCain did not accept them and that puzzles me. McCain does not share often about his faith and his relationship with God. He does not say to the public that he is a born again man. He’s very quiet about that and I’m waiting on that. That does make me wonder.

Obama goes to church. He labels himself as a Christian, but I question his church attending record for 20 years. There’s some sticky issues in this. He denounced his church pastor and does not want to associate himself to his pastor. I looked through Obama’s voting records and it does not match a Christian voting record. So, having a person’s walk play a important role in who I should vote, both Obama and McCain isn’t helping me decide.

Because of this, I have to move onto the second important issue and that is, Life. The issue of Life. Life for people who cannot defend for themselves. Now, a baby in a mother’s womb is defenseless. They are all innocent. All babies are at the mercy of people who decides their “fate”. So, if you ask why I am putting babies’ lives as a second important issue, this is because the Scriptures say that a baby is valuable.

“Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; Before you were born, I santified you…”Jeremiah 1:5

“You are He who took me out of the womb…”-Psalm 22:9

God, Himself, took the time to plan the life of the baby and we take it lightly and take that away. Really, this isn’t right, so, the issue of life is important to me. I looked at both candidates’ standing on this issue.  McCain is pro-life. He has shared and said that he will not agree to Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court decision. McCain disagrees with abortion and is a big supporter of pro-life. Obama has declared that he is pro-choice. He will allow women to choose whatever they want to do with the living human baby in their wombs. Ooh, ack. This gives me a clearer picture of which candidate I should support.

Another topic in line is marriage. The Scriptures shows clearly that a marriage is between a man and a woman. A man and a woman will leave their parents and be united. This is the definition of marriage.

“Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.” -Genesis 2:24

“For this cause, shall a man leave his father and mother and shall cleave to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh?” -Matthew 19:5

I checked out the candidates’ view on marriage. McCain agrees to the definition of marriage to be between a man and a woman according to the Bible. Obama does not. Obama says any two people can get married- regardless of their sex gender. This causes a great concern with me.

With the priorities of life and marriage and seeing how the candidates view them makes it easier for me, as a Christian, to know who I ought to vote for and that is McCain/Palin.

Now, if you ask me what my sources are and how I knew these information, I checked out their voting records, their campaign websites, and from websites that I appreciate for their service to the public. I will share with you the website and please write it down and check it out. It has a nice list of different standings each candidates have on different issues. Are they in favor? Do they disagree? etc. You can click on that information and it will share with you the candidates’ background and where they got that information.

www.afa.net/08VG/index.html

It is our responsibility to vote smart, to vote as God would want us to vote. So, don’t take this responsibility lightly. Make sure you look into this right, not because of a minor issue such as deaf rights or race. Look into specifically what God would want you to vote for.

I cannot go to sleep good knowing that I voted for someone who supports abortion. I can’t. Those are my thoughts.

Be blessed and vote smart.

Some Leaders Are Born Women

October 15th, 2008 |

http://www.leforstribe.com/

Women. Today I want to talk about how women have shaped history–election is coming up closeby and this is making me think about the women who fought for the right to vote. We ought to thank them for their work. We also ought to thank their mother for delivering them into this world. We ought to thank their mother’s mother for delivering her into this world. We ought to thank their mother’s mother’s mother’s mother for delivering her into this world. We ought to thank their mother’s mother’s mother’s and so on all the way through the Scriptures and to Day number 5. Why day number 5, you ask? Because it is the day that God created a woman. This v-log may be a connection to my recent v-log titled, “I Am Crying Because I Am A Woman”. You know, a lawyer at the court house always prepare his/her case with many evidences to show proof that their foundation is true and honest.  I want to thank a couple of women for sharing their thoughts with me. Again, I am not talking about liberal women who despise men or womanpride where women grab their breasts. I do not want to make men feel inferior.

The Scriptures has over 200 names that belongs to a woman. I want to bring up the issue again how God sees women—priceless.

The Scriptures mentions a lot of stories and I cannot mention them all to you so I will share some of them. There is a famous quote saying, “Actions speaks louder than words.” Chapter and verses of the stories will be displayed and you can read them yourself. I will paraphrase the story (for the sake of ASL).

We will see, in action, how God uses women and even bother to have her mentioned in the Scriptures.

Genesis 2:18-24

God created the earth and it was still not good enough without a woman on it. God has acted and created a woman. Women exist because of God’s action.

Judge 4 and 5.

Israel was under oppression of another country and God wanted to see the country become a free nation. He wanted men to begin fighting for their freedom, but the men in Israel was afraid. They did not want to fight against another country. When God saw that there was no one to actually stand up, God chose Deborah. She became like a commander in chief. She was a judge. Now, in the country of Israel, I would assume there were about 2 million males (I guess, I don’t know) but we know that there were many. And still, God saw that none of these males were good enough and He picked Deborah. She was a strong woman.

1 Samuels 25:3-39

We have Abigail. She was married to a very wealthy man. King David wanted some things from her husband. Abigail’s husband didn’t agree and began to say foolish things to King David. Because of his stupidity, King David became angry and threatened to destroy his things. Abigail recognized that her husband was a fool and she did not want her properties to be destroyed so she came up with several items and went up to King David and talked with him. She displayed great wisdom, knowledge, and beauty. This impressed King David and he applauded her of her wisdom, intelligence, and beauty and withdrew his threats. King David is known to be a man after God’s heart and with that being said, God saw Abigail as wise, smart, and knowledgable. Let alone that there was an effort to mention this story in the Scriptures.

Genesis 21:14-20

Hagar, mother of Ishmael. Ishmael’s descendants are currently in the Middle-East part. Many of them are Muslims. Abraham sent Hagar and her son, Ishmael out into the desert to die. Hagar was grieved by that and God saw her pain. He sent an angel to provide for her and He made a promise with Hagar saying that out of her, God would make a great nation. He had given her honor.

The Book of Esther

Esther, oh, we cannot forget her. If not for her, there would be no jewish people on the face of earth. Her husband, a king, was decieved by another man to wipe Jewish people off the face of Earth. This is like another holocaust and the king would be like Hitler. By God’s timing, Esther was placed in the right place and time for the King to want to marry her. She became a queen and was the very one that saved a nation. She had wisdom and planned a stragety to convince the king not to kill Jews. We see that God, in action, picked a woman to save a nation. If the king had wiped all Jews off the face of earth, we would not have a Savior, a Messiah.

Luke 2:36-38

Anna. she was an old lady, a widow, who was a prophetess and annoited by God. She was the first person to begin telling people that the Messiah has arrived–the baby was the son of God. It required a woman to tell the world that the time of salvation is here.

Philippians 4:2-3

Eudoia and Suntche both had a disagreement. Paul encouraged them to resolve their issues and become likeminded. The point here is that Paul did not condemn these women for talking by saying that they ought to be quiet and not to speak a word. Instead, Paul tells them to resolve which means that these women had brains.

Luke 10:38-42

Mary and Martha are sisters. Jesus and his disciples came to their house and wanted to visit them.  One sister became concerned on how to please her guests. She was busy cooking, cleaning, and making sure all was well. The other sister just sat down and spent time talking with Jesus. The hard working sister complained to Jesus saying that her sister ought to be helping her. Jesus answered by saying that the sister who was sitting by him was doing a good thing. The point here, Jesus, Son of God, tells a woman to relax and chill and for her join her sister. Another point here, Jesus is considered a wise person, many other religions recognize Jesus as a wise man, wise teacher, or a wise prophet. They do not consider him to be the Son of God. The issue here is wise. Jesus went to a female’s house and chatted with them. The sisters were obviously intelligent enough to be able to have a conversation with Jesus, who is a wise man. And this story was mentioned in the Scriptures.

2 Timothy 1:5, 3:14

Lois and Eunice. Lois is a grandmother of Timothy and Eunice is the mother of Timothy Who is Timothy? He was a pastor who grew up learning about God through his mother and grandmother. Paul wrote several letters to different churches and one of his letters were to Timothy, a pastor. Paul encourages Timothy to continue listening and learning from these ladies; Lois and Eunice. The point here is that Paul had encoruaged a pastor to continue learning from a female. The scripture uses the word “continue”.

Matthew 28:1-10

We have Mary Magaledine. She was the first person Jesus walked to and told her to go ahead and tell others that He had come back alive from the dead. Mary saw Jesus alive and went ahead to tell others that Jesus had risen. It is a honor to be able to do that. Now everyone knows her. She’s famous because she was the first person Jesus saw when He was risen. If God was about degarading women, He would have wanted Jesus to find a male and then give this certain male the honor to spread the word But no, it was a woman.

Paul wrote many letters to many different churches. He wrote 2/3 of the Bible. In his letters he mentions many names. Less than 50% of these names belong to a woman. This is less than half. He praises women for their wisdom, work, dedication, service, and intelligence in talking to others about the Scriptures. Again, read the Bible in God’s view and in context. God *smack fist* women. Also, don’t forget that these women also suffered pain and some death for continuing to spread the word about God’s unconditional love.

Women, you are far more valuable than r..u..b..i…e…s.

I Am Crying Because I Am A Woman

October 2nd, 2008 |

http://www.leforstribe.com/

I cried because I am a woman. *sob sob* I read the Bible as it talked about women. There’s a lot of tears on my neck and cheeks. I felt touched and feel that God wants me to talk to you about women issues in the bible- Women that follow Jesus. *sob sob* The Bible talks about women, *oh, sob sob* I’m crying because I was born a female. You, women,  cry with me.

The Bible says women are valued far above than rubies.

*picture of rubies*

Ruby is a beautiful stone and the value of a woman exceeds the value of rubies.

I am expensive.

I am valuable.

“Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.”-Proverbs 31:10

Before I begin, please, when you want to make a comment, comment over at http://www.leforstribe.com/. There is a video comment you can make. If you cannot make a video comment, go ahead and make a comment elsewhere but come to http://www.leforstribe.com/ and let me know about it and where to find it. My vlog goes out to different websites and I cannot go out and look for your comments. Thank you very much.

I am not talking about liberal women who hate men or about women pride where they grab ahold of their breasts. I’m talking about the heart of a woman. Female. Those who are born a female. Woman.

Adam was created in a perfect world–utopia–waterfalls and all the animals roaming about. He wrestled and played with them–talked to them (hey, Eve talked to the snake so yeah, they could talk to the animals back then).Yet, God saw that it was not good enough. He created a woman, then it was good.

Likewise, if you’re married, God instructed husbands to love their wives like Jesus loved the church. How did Jesus love the Church? He DIED! My husband will die for me. This is how far God wants a man to go for his woman. Love her. Protect her. Love her to death.

Husbands, love your wives just as Christ also loved the Church and gave Himself for her.” -Ephesians 5:25

In the perfect world, Adam and Eve walked equally together but as they both disobeyed God, they had to reap the consequences. They were no longer equal. But with Christ coming in the picture, man and woman are now equal.

The story: Satan came as a disguse of a snake and spoke to Eve decieving her to take the forbidden fruit. Eve told Adam and he gulliably ate the forbidden fruit. They both faced their misery and God was upset. God went to the source of this whole thing. The snake. God punished the snake by removing its arms and legs. Now, the woman, she will have to deal with childbirth. The man, he will deal with weeds and so forth. The equality was broken off. Now, through Jesus, He brings the equality back together.

“There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ.” -Galatians 3:28.

99% of you probably thought I was crying because I am SAD that I am a woman. This is normal. We automatically on the back of our head think negative thoughts. Our mind reacts negatively when someone says, “I am crying because I am a woman”. We say, “Goodness, she is so sad that she is a woman.” We think negatively at first in our minds then we ask the person, “Why?”

I am not sad. I am crying because I’m thrilled! These are tears of JOY!

This concept can be applied when we read the Bible and read only one verse and take it out of context, then create an issue out of one verse and it becomes very severely twisted. “The Bible degrades women!”, “The bible does not make sense and it has contradictions.”, “God is cruel and hates women!”. Our minds automatically thinks negatively. We must read the Bible in its entire context and see it in God’s views not human’s because humans’ minds react negatively automatically. *sob sob*

Rubies are expensive. Men, die for your wife- love her to death. God said that even in the perfect world, it was still not good enough without woman. This is God’s love for women.

I am a woman.

With God’s view of a woman in mind, we have to keep it with everything else in the Bible. Blend it in. Blend this concept in all the issues related to women. A woman is expensive–especially what kind of woman she is.

God has said for us love ourselves, love our body, love others as yourself. Respect yourself.

I saw a vlog bashing Leviticus 12;1-8. This chapter talks about women during their menstration and childbirth. For this topic, a lot of people do say, “Look at this! God degrades women!”, “Really God–yadda yadda yadda yadda.”

“The Lord said to Moses, “Say to theIsraelites: “A woman who becomes pregnant and gives birth to a son will be ceremonially unclean for seven days, just as she is unclean during her monthly period. On the eighth day the boy is to be circumcised. Then the woman must wait thirty-three days to be purified from her bleeding. She must not touch anything sacred or go to the sanctuary until the days of her purification are over. If she gives birth to a daughter, for two weeks the woman will be unclean, as during her period. Then she must wait sixty-six days to be purified from her bleeding. When the days of her puriciation for a son or daughter are over, she is to bring to the priest at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting a year-old lamb for a burnt offering and a young pigeon or a dove for a sin offering.” -Leviticus 12:1-6

The bible does say that a blood is dangerous to drink or touch. Blood to blood. During that time, people bak in these days did not bathe often–if you’re lucky, maybe once a year. Perhaps many of them have never even taken a bath, I guess. They did not santize anything. No latex gloves back then! Today, we know many things and we improve by santizing many things–wear latex gloves– YET we have AIDS and staph! And you think God is stupid? Wake up.

Menstration is a time of cleansing the woman’s body. WHy did the bible use the word ‘unclean’? It is because the body is going through a cleansing process and at that point it is not clean. Does this mean that the woman is dirty and that everyone ought to flee away from her? No! Did God make a woman in the Garden of Eden just to have people look down on her when she gets her period? No! The Bible also says to honor your mother. Did God make mothers so that her children will flee away and say, “ewww!” and dishonor their mother? No! This does not make sense. God encourages us in the Bible to be fruitful and multiply, and then when a woman delivers her child, God tells us to look at her as a wicked person and to condemn her? No! Oh, God says in the Bible that children are a GIFT from God…and when a woman has a baby son, He says it is a shame, with a boy you stay separated and unclean for 33 days and with a daughter, double it to 66 days? No!

Degrading and degrading women….

This perspective only happens because the person DOES NOT KNOW GOD AND HIS UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. They read one thing and in the back of their mind builds up a negative thought and concept.

*sob sob sob*

I am a woman.

This is a red tissue I am using. It is red like the rubies. Red just like blood. Blood is also very expensive. “My flesh and blood…” Jesus had to die. His blood was shed for us so that we can have a relationship with God.

Back to Leviticus, what is the purpose of menstration? It allows a fresh egg to enter the womb to be fertilized. The bleeding is of old eggs and lining in the womb. Women is to stay away from society because of her blood. Her blood could touch other people. Why circumcision on the 8th day? Your body develops Vitamin K on the 8th day. Google it and you will see. God knows. His timing is perfect. Why does the mother of a daughter have to stay away from people for 66 days? Bonding time with daughter. The daughter is going to be a woman. She will carry the seed and a woman will deliver a son–the son of God. God knows and God encourages the mother to develop a bond with their babies. There is no punishment or degration in this. It is all about bonding! Today, many women take maternity leave– they last for 6 weeks. That’s 48 days and often mothers say that it isn’t enough. They want more time. God knows! He gave us women 66 days to rest and enjoy our time with our babies.

We see that this chapter talks about making a sacrifice. A mother at the end of her purification will need to sacrifice a lamb (or pigeon if she cannot afford a lamb). This is a typeshadow of Jesus as the lamb. Jesus was born of a woman, he grew up to be a man and died for us once and for all. He loves the Church.

This ceremonial law is fulfilled. Christ nailed it to the cross. Today, there is no need to do this.

Yeah, people will try to find ugly things in the Bible and take it out of context and blast it out. Why do they do this? It is because they, themselves, have no love. They are angry and have issues. So when they find things that appear in their mind as negative, they view it very negatively and cannot understand it the way God views it.

This is exactly how you thought when you read the title of this vlog, “I am crying because I am a woman.” You automatically assumed that I was very sad at the fact that I am a woman.

No, I’m crying because I’m thrilled.

Love, TRUE Love cannot fail.

I’m a woman. A phenominal woman. You, women who follow Jesus, cry with me. You have no pricetag on you. You are VERY expensive in God’s eyes. God loves you. And for you other women who have heard and read about this topic–that the Bible degrades women–these are LIES from BOTH women and men blabbing what they think is right according to their own mind. Don’t feel discouraged. Come to me, and let me hug you and tell you God’s unconditional love for you through the Bible. You are a woman.

*sob sob*

I am a woman.

How Unconstitutional Are We?

Quotes/Text:

Hi! You know, often when a famous or powerful politician gives a speech or says something that has God’s name in it, people get upset. They will obejct to it and the famous politican oftentimes will issue a letter of apology or withdraw their statement. I was going through my old blogs and I saw this blog where I had shared famous quote said by our forefathers.

Election is just around the corner and a lot of people are figuring out who they should vote for. My husband wants to do a vlog one day on who we ought to vote for.

Here are the quotes said by our forefathers.

“Proclaim the liberty throughout the land to all the inhabitants thereof.”-Levicitus 25:10, inscription on the Liberty Bell.

“The people know that it is impossible to rightly govern without God and the Bible.”-George Washington, America’s first President.

“The Bible is the Rock which our republic rests.”-Andrew Jackson, 7th President of the U.S.

“If we abide by the principles taught in the Bible, our country will go on prospering.”-Daniel Webster, Elected into congress in 1812.

“You do well to wish to learn our arts and ways of life, and above all the religion of Jesus Christ. Congress will do everything they can to assist you in these wise intention.”-George Washington to the Native Americans of Delware.

(Congress apropriated funds for 20,000 Bibles for the frontier Native Americans. Does this sound like separation from Church and State?)

“He who shall introduce into public affairs the principles of primitive Christanity will change the face of the world.”-Benjamin Franklin

“I have always said, and always will say, that the studious persual of the sacred volume (Bible) will make us better citizens.”-Thomas Jefferson, 3rd President of the U.S.

“It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not on religionists, but by Christians, not on religions but on the GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST.”-Patrick Henry, Governor of Virginia

“Politics are a part of religion in such a country as this, and Christians must do their duty to the country as part of their duty to God…(God) will bless or course this nation, according to the course (Christians) take in politics,”-Charles Finney, 19th century Evagenlist

“Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers and it is the duty as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians as their rulers.”-John Jay, First Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court

“No free government now exists in the world, unless where Christanity is acknowledged, and is the religion of the country…Christanity is part of the common law…its foundations are broad and strong, and deep. It is the purest system of morality…and only stable support of all human laws.”-Pennsylvania Supreme Court, 1824

“Religion is the only solid basis of good morals, therefore, education should teachthe precepts of religion and the duties of man towards God.”-Governor Morris of New Jersey-1776

“Religion, morality, and knowledge, being necessary to good government and happiness of mankind, schools, and the means of education SHALL FOREVER be encouraged.”-Northwest Ordiance, 1789.

“We staked the whole future of American civilization, not upon the power of government, far from it, we have staked the future ipon the capicity of each and all of us to goevrn ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God.”-James Madison, 4th President of the U.S.

“Man will be ultimately governed by God or tyrants.”- Benjamin Franklin

“Our constitution was made only for a RELIGIOUS and MORAL people. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other.”-John Adams, 6th President of the U.S.

“We have this day restored in the sovereign to whom all men ought to be obedient. He reigns in heaven and from the rising to the setting of the sun, let His kingdom come.”-Samuel Adams at the signing of the Declaration of Independence–cousin of John Adams

“The highest glory of the American Revolution was this, it connected in one indissoluble bond the principles of civil government with the principles of Christanity.”-John Quincy Adams, 6th President of the U.S.

“By our form of government, the Christian religion is the established religion and all sects and denominations of Christians are placed on the same, equal footing.”-Supreme Court decision, 1799

WE ARE VERY UNCONSITIONAL!!!

You CANNOT separate God and State. You CAN separate Church and State. Too many people have misunderstood. Church is the doctrine. Heck, that was the very reason why our forefathers left England. The Colonials left England because of the Catholic law. The Colonials were Christians and did not favor the Catholic doctrine. They wanted freedom–to worship God and have a relationship with Him. King James approved a law that would forbid people from reading their Bible inside their homes, in stead they must attend the Catholic church. Now, here in America, you have a religion freedom. You can choose what you want. This is a true reflection of God. God says you have a freewill. You can choose Him or reject Him.

The choice is yours.

My Abusive Father

September 10th, 2008 |

www.leforstribe.com

I want to tell you about my father. My father loves me very much and he made me. He is so proud of me and wants me to be close to him. He says he wants to bless me and treat me well. He also said he wanted to meet all of my needs. I believe in him, honestly. You know, my father broke my leg because he wanted my attention. I did get better but it was very painful and I couldn’t work so it hurt us financially. My father also took my car wheel and made my car nearly crash into another car and it ended up crashing into a tree. He wanted my attention some more. I am so glad I am still alive and so is my father. My father did not want me to die, he just wanted my attention. Also my father tried to put cancer in my body. He told me that it was something he wanted for me. He also said he wanted me to be strong and fight through it. He does not want me to die but wanted me to have cancer. I had to see a lot of doctors and go through serious treatments to survive. Even though my father gave me cancer, he is thrilled I am a survivor. My father wants me to be poor and he said he will help me make it through. Sometimes I go hungry but I know that is what my dad wants and sometimes I get a lot of food. Sometimes I dont have any money to pay my rent and bills. Sometimes I have nothing and I am behind on my rent and from time to time my father gives me money. I get depressed sometimes and my father says it is something he wants me to have but says he wants to see me get better. My father made me lose my job because I was not giving him enough attention so I am stuck being poor. I have no money, no food. My father told me he wants to see me successful and he wants me to do my best.

Many of you know my father. His name is God.

If my father was a human being in America, he would be thrown into JAIL for child abuse. He broke my leg and nearly killed me by crashing my car into a tree. He starved me and made me poor. He put cancer in my body and many more.

But really, God, my father, said in the Scripture that he loves me very much and he wants to bless me. He wants to make me successful and does not want to harm me. Honestly, read the Scriptures and see for yourself.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” -Jeremiah 29:11

Let them shout for joy and be glad, Who favor my righteous cause; And let them say continually, “Let the Lord be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.” -Psalm 35:27

Many people say that God is the way He is when the Scriptures says the opposite. This saying is really a lie from the pits of hell. Yahshua (Jesus’s real name spelled in Hebrew but I will sign “Jesus” because many are familiar with that sign) explained very clearly in the Scriptures the difference between him and satan. Read John 10:10.

“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” -John 10:10

It is said that Yahshua meant eternal life. Yes, that’s also true but notice it uses the word, “Abundantly”. This is like a cup filled and overflowing. The overflowing is eternal life. What about the remaining in the cup? That’s LIFE here on Earth. You know the Lord’s Prayer– there is a line in that prayer that says, “Your will in heaven on earth….” This means “life” in heaven is the same on Earth. There is no sickness in heaven, no harm, no depression, sadness, poverty, and etc. We can have that on earth.

Don’t get me wrong, yes, we will face persecution and trial on Earth but those are attacks from the devil using people. Not from God. Yahshua was NOT at all poor, if he was, he wouldn’t hiew Judas to be His treasurer. Yahshua always healed people. Yahshua experienced persecution by those who hated him. Did God inflict those persecutions? No. God was with Yahshua all the way to the cross and Yahshua knew he had to go through it for the best result at the end. The result is for you and me. God can use what is already bad and turn it into for something good. Let us stop blaming our Father. He is good and awesome 100%. Let’s change our mentality and begin attacking satan, not God. We cannot fight against someone who is FOR us. The story in the beginning is not true. I just used examples of everyday life situations.

Be blessed!

Winning Battles

July 29th, 2008 |

http://www.leforstribe.com/

Hi, I was reading the Scriptures and I would like to talk about 2nd Chronicles, chapter 13. This book is in the Old Testament of the Bible.

You know, in Israel’s history, King Saul was the first king of Israel. After King Saul came King David and then after King David, his son, Solomon became the king of Israel. After Solomon, the country Israel became divided into two kingdoms. One kingdom was called Judah and the other kingdom was called Israel.

Kingdom of Judah had many kings after Solomon and some of their kings served God and some didn’t. Kingdom of Israel also had many kings but none of them served God. They became very lost and all of their kings totally rejected God.

OK, so we see that after Solomon, the country of Israel split into two kingdoms. Kingdom of Judah had a king named Rehoboam. Kingdom of Israel had a king named Jeroboam. I am not sure how you spell their names. (text correctly spells the kings’ names.)

King Rehoboam is a young king of Israel and Jeroboam took advantage of that. Jeroboam created strifes with King Rehoboam and that’s how the country of Israel split into two kingdoms. Jeroboam became the king of Israel.

Years later, King Rehoboam’s son, Abijah, became the succeeder. Abijah became the king of Judah. King Abijah was a good king and he followed God. He kept the people of Judah focused on God. King Jeroboam, on the other hand, had no regard for God. He and his kingdom totally rejected God.

Now, I’m gonna sign a short summary of 2nd Chronicles, chapter 13.

Abijah, the good king of Judah, stood before King Jeroboam and his people saying, “Listen to me! Don’t you know you can’t go against God’s plans! God has promised King David that out of him a son would rule the country of Israel. You have rejected God and split Israel and established a king. You are ‘crazy’ to do that. Do you actually think that your kingdom can stand if you go against God? You have rejected God’s priests, his righteous people, and established your own leaders, and created your own ridiclious gods–a golden calf. Everyday you make sacrifices to your ridiclious calf. As for me and my people, we follow God everyday and we obey his Commandments. Let me tell you the truth, God is with us, not you. I tell you that it is not worth fighting with us.  Surrender yourselves.”

King Jeroboam continued to rebel and he created a stragety and decided to go ahead and attack kingdom of Judah. King Jeroboam did not just go to the front lines, he sent his soliders to both sides, front and rear.

Judah was shocked that there was an ambush from the kingdom of Israel. Kingdom of Judah’s war stragety was to shout very loud to God and begin singing praises. They ran and began to fight against King Jeroboam’s soliders. As a result, King Abijah and his soliders destroyed King Jeroboam and his soliders really bad. Also, God has given Israel to Judah as a war victory. Israel lost 500,000 soliders.

Judah gained control of Israel because they trusted in God. King Jeroboam died.

This is a very short summary of what happened in that chapter. OK, now, what can we learn from this chapter?

See, King Abijah was not afraid to stand before King Jeroboam and his people and speak boldly for God telling them that if they continue to go against God, they’re really foolish.

This is the same as how we should react when we see situations or things that happen in our lives that are going against God’s plans for us. We must not be afraid to tell the situation that this situation is not God’s will and that we don’t have to partake it. I will stand strong against it.

After King Abjah boldly told King Jeroboam the things he said, King Jeroboam did not become sensitive to what King Abjah shared and recognize that he is really telling the truth. King Jeroboam did not surrender and repent. He continued to fight against King Abijah. This can be the same way for us. When we walk right in God’s eyes and a situation comes up in our lives, we SHOULD NOT be surprised that satan would try to fight against God by perscuting and attacking us. We should expect that to happen and when that does happen, how should we respond to it?

We should respond the same way King Abijah’s armies did.

Stand strong, shout to God and trust in Him by singing praises. Doing this will lead us to winning battles very easily.

This is also why I really enjoy the Old Testament of the Bible. A lot of people may think that the Old Testament is just full of “stories” and that’s it. Oh no, it’s not “stories”. There are many principalities and concepts that we can learn from and apply to our lives every single day.

Let me encourage you to read the Old Testament. Go ahead and read 2nd Chronicles, chapter 13 for yourself. There are many good stories in that book that has touched my heart and inspired me to live my life everyday.

Be blessed.

Watered Down

July 7th, 2008 |

http://www.leforstribe.com/

http://www.fivecentnickel.com/2006/06/01/ethanol-blended-gas-lower-mileage/

Hello! I was wondering about something. You know, sometimes when you drink a cup of tea or a soda, the ice in it melts when you leave it to sit for a while. When you take a drink of that same cup, it taste watery because the ice has melted. It becomes a diluted drink. Watered down.

I would like to make an analogy of this with the Bible and gas.

You know, gas prices are on the rise and there are people who are worried about it. Let me share with you, there is NO need to worry for those who are Believers because our Father, God, will take care of us.  Not worrying at all does not mean we should go on about our lives acting like an idiot. No! We need to be alert, be in the know of information and facts.

Recently, I just learned something new about gas. Ethanol. Ethanol is another kind of fuel energy that can make vehciles operate. Ethanol are mostly made from corn. It is cheaper to make and can give us an opportunity to rely on things made in America than from other countries for oil and so on. But, unfortunately, there is a negative side to ethanol. Ethanol in cars causes it to have less fuel effienciency. The MPG will become lower than normal. That’s the negative side to using ethanol in your vehicles.

Many gas stations out there are mixing ethanol to the gas. Up to 10% of ethanol can be used in all kinds of cars. It will not cause any problems. Some vehicles can use up to 85% of ethanol but there are not many vehicles that have that kind of flexibility, which is called flex-fuel.

Anyway, when regular cars fill up their tank with gas that has 10% of ethanol mixed in it, your car’s MPG will reduce, no doubt about that. Now, the question is, how much of MPG is reduced? There are people who are complaining about this on the internet and it is a personal experience of mine too. I’ve noticed that the MPG in my vehicles have lowered from about 5% to 10%. Some of us might think this is not a big deal at the moment but if we think about the long run, it all adds up and it is a large amount of gas wasted.

http://www.fivecentnickel.com/2006/06/01/ethanol-blended-gas-lower-mileage/Ethanol is indeed a lot cheaper to make and to have it mixed with gas should bring the prices of gas to a lower rate but that’s not happening. The gas prices are the same, maybe some will have 1 or 2 cents off. Don’t think that because it is 1 or 2 cents cheaper, it is a great deal and you run off to fill up your gas tank with gas that is mixed with ethanol. The real result of this is that you LOSE money. You are spending money on gas and your car is using more gas and losing MPG.This is what I call watered down gas.

This is what I would suggest you to do. Some areas require that all gas stations mix their gas with 10% ethanol. Some areas have a choice of mixing ethanol or not. If the area that you live in does not require gas stations to mix 10% ethanol in their gas, you need to find out which gas station does NOT have 10% ethanol in their gas. When you find out the gas stations that use 100% gas, buy gas from that company. You will really save money by doing it that way than buying gas that has 10% ethanol mixed in it. The area that I live in has two gas stations that does not mix ethanol in their gas. I buy gas from these two gas stations. Unfortunately many of the gas stations in my area have mixed 10% ethanol in their gas. :-(

Now, the watering down things makes a difference. The drink that you have with melted ice doesn’t taste as good as before the ice was melted. The gas with ethanol does not work as good as gas without ethanol. This is the same with God’s Word. It is being watered down.

God’s Word has been watered down because of man-made traditions and ideas. Jesus has warned us in Matthew 15:3. Jesus says, “Why have you forsaken God’s commandments for the sake of man traditions?”

“And He answered to them, “Why do you yourselves trangress the Commandments of God for the sake of your traditions?” -Matthew 15:3

I realize that some man-made traditions that are being passed down sounds good. They seem right but in reality, they are probably not right. Here are some examples of man-made traditions that men have invented that may sound good but in reality, they aren’t. It’s messed up.

Men have said, “God is full of love and full of grace. God forgives all, no matter what you do, God knows and he forgives you.” Is this true? Let’s see what the scriptures say.

“What then? Shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.” -Romans 6:15

In Romans 6:15, Paul wrote saying that God is graceful but that does NOT mean we can continue to sin. He uses a real strong word, “God forbid!” This scritpure contradicts with the saying that men have created, “God is love and full of grace. We can go ahead and do what we want to do. It’s OK. God will forgive us. It’s not a big deal.” Yikes.

Another example here, people like to say that their eyes have freedom. They can look anywhere. The ”Look but don’t touch” saying. If I see a pretty woman, I’m just looking at her but I’m not touching her. It’s no big deal. It’s OK. Now, this does sound good. God made women so it’s ok for me to look at them lustfully. But what does Jesus say about this? He says in Matthew chapter 5 that if anyone looks at a woman lustfully, ‘my my, she’s a pretty lady’, he has already committed adultery in his heart.

“But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” -Matthew 5:28

Whoa! I’m sure many of us don’t want to commit adultery with our wives but even looking at a woman lustfully causes us to do so. Is the man made tradition “Look but don’t touch” correct? No, it isn’t.

Another example that people tend to say, “I’m sick, everyone gets sick and die. That’s normal and part of life. That’s the way it is.” Hmm… in fact God says “No”. We are healed by Jesus’s stripes and suffering. That is for us so that we can be healed.

“…And by His stripes, we are healed.” -Isaiah 53:5

Now, it does sound good that “everybody gets sick and die” but God says the opposite of it. Weight the two; man made traditions and God’s Word. God’s Words are the TRUTH. We ARE healed.

It is very often that we hear different sayings, opinions, thoughts, and so on. What can we do about it? We can believe and take value of men’s tradition or we can take responsibility and stand up. We begin to seek the Truth and make sure it lines with the Word by checking to see if it matches God’s Words, God’s Truth, and God’s Will.

God’s Word is very powerful and valuable. We must cherish it and not allow it to become watered down. Cherish that valuable Thing that has been given to us.

Have a blessed day and, hey, be a blessing to God.

Is Your Mind New?

May 21st, 2008 |

http://www.leforstribe.com/

Is your mind new? When someone is a born again Christian, converts their old life to God, and is baptized, his spiritual being is new. God has given him a new spiritual being.  The outer body is the same. He looks the same and nothing is different on the outside. This outer body can make us want to do something that we ought not to do. The outer body is also called “flesh” or “carnal”.  Now, for your mind, your thoughts, and your perspective on some things can either follow your new spiritual being or your flesh body.

I would like for us to look into what our job is when it comes to dealing with our mind.

The first point I would like to make: BEING SAVED (born again) DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY MEAN YOU HAVE THE RIGHT MINDSET.

Being saved does not mean that you automatically have the right thoughts, right mindset, and right perspective on things. We can see an example in Matthew chapter 16. It talks about Peter and his thought process. In this chapter, Jesus brought His disciples to Him and asked them, “Who do people say I am?” Some of the disciples responded saying, “Some say You are Elijah, some say You are John the Baptist, and so on.” But Peter responded to Jesus saying, “You are the Son of God, the Christ.” Jesus looked at Peter and said, “Yes, you are right.”

Peter’s response of who Jesus is was a revelation from God. It was not Peter’s own thought process. This was when Jesus told Peter that He would build His church on Peter, the rock.  This is a big honor. It is a very nice compliment Jesus made of Peter. Then shortly after that, Jesus began to explain to His disciples what will happen to Him in Jerusalem. Jesus explained that He would be beaten and crucified but in three days He would rise back to life.  Peter heard Jesus and didn’t like what he heard. Peter took Jesus aside and rebuked Him saying, “This will not happen. You will live!” Jesus did not respond to Peter by saying, “Aww…You care for me and want me to live…sweet.” No, not at all did Jesus respond like this. Instead, Jesus said to Peter very sternly, “This is the devil talking, get behind Me!” Jesus did not accept what Peter had to say because it was not from God, but rather from the devil. Read the scriptures.

“Peter answered and said, “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.” (Matthew 16:16)… “Jesus said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.” (Matthew 16:23)

This story shows us that even though Peter did understand God’s revelation that Jesus is the Son of God, and that He will save us. Peter understood that! But at the same time, Peter had a different perspective on the fact that Jesus would be beaten and killed. Peter told Jesus, “No way! You won’t die!” That thought process was not from God. This shows that even being saved (Peter believed in Jesus and that He was the Messiah.) will not automatically make our thoughts correct. We have to work in making our thoughts line up with God. I’ll talk more about that in a while.

There is another story in Acts chapter 8 where a man whose name was Simon and he was a leader in his town or village.  Simon used evil spirits, such as fortune telling and that kind of thing, to keep his “popularity”. He was a con man. But when certain missionaries came to his village to witness to the people in Simon’s town about Jesus Christ, Simon heard the message and was touched by it. He believed in the Messiah and was baptized and began to follow the disciples. Simon watched closely as to how the disciples of Jesus taught and performed. When the disciples began to use the power of the Holy Spirit and laying hands on people. It was making a huge impact on the people in the village. Simon saw that the power that the disciples were using was nothing like Simon had known. Simon wanted that power so he told the disciples that he would pay them some money to have that Holy Spirit power like the disciples had and begin laying his hands on people.  The disciples saw that Simon had a wrong heart. His motive was not genuine and was not of God’s.

“Simon himself believed and when he was baptized, he continued with Phillip, beholding the miracles and signs which were done…” (Acts 8:13) “when Simon saw that through the laying on the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money” (Acts 8:18)

This chapter, again, shows that being saved and being baptized does not mean that your mind is automatically right. It is our job to make it become right.

IT IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO RENEW OUR MINDS.

It is our responsibility to renew our minds. The word “renew” tells us that we have to change our mentality everyday, keeping our focus on God and making our perspective in the likes of God’s view. This is also by not always believing what we see and hear in this world. Our views need to be like God’s.

“Do not be comformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is good and acceptable and perfect will of God’s.” -Romans 12:2

Romans chapter 12 tells us not to become like the world. Our mind needs to be renewed, renewed, renewed, renewed, and renewed. Why is it necessary to renew our minds? So that we can show what is good, acceptable and perfect will of God’s.  To do this, it requires that we renew our minds. This is our part. There is another verse in Ephesians I’d like to share.

“Let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God- truly righteous and holy.” -Ephesians 4:23-24

The Spirit that you have inside your body that was given to you by God, let that spirit renew your thoughts, your attitudes, and your perspective. The new spirit that you have is something that you, yourself, need to “put on” so that you can be the same as God- righteous and holy.

In both of the verses, in Romans and in Ephesians, it shows that we have an ACTIVE role, not PASSIVE role. An active role means it is something that we must do on our part. A passive role means “sitting back and doing nothing” thinking that your mind will automatically be changed for you.  We have a responsibility, a job to do and that is renewing our minds as a Believer.  It is your responsibility to renew your minds.

TIPS ON RENEWING YOUR MIND:

Now, TIPS, how do we renew our minds? Here are some things that I would like to share with you that works for me. Please do not be limited to the things that I share. There are many more but the ones that I share are just a couple.

Phillipians chapter 4 explains what we should ponder on and what things should run in our minds. Maybe you’re thinking about how high the gas prices are, or how the Hollywood stars are horrible, thier adulteries, and many more–whatever it is. The Phillipians verse tells us what we ought to have in our minds.

“Dear brothers and sisters, fix your thoughts on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.” -Phillippians 4:8

What is TRUE, HONORABLE, RIGHT, PURE, LOVELY, and ADMIRABLE are the things that we should allow our minds to think about. Doing this will help your thought process change to what is of God’s. It will become like God’s thoughts, views, and perspective. If you think on negative things or on things that are of the world’s, this will hinder your good thoughts and attitude on life.

Another important pointers would be such as: Who are you hang out with? What kind of people are your friends? What kind of conversations are you having with people? What kind of shows are you watching on TV? What are you letting your eyes see, ears hear, and allowing it to enter your mind? What are you “absorbing” into your mind? These are important pointers.

“Don’t team up with unbelievers. How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness?” -2 Corinthians 6:14

2 Corinthians verse tells us we should not team up with unbelievers because it is unheard for righteous to mingle with wickedness and light to mingle with darkness. Righteous and Light are different things from wickedness and darkness. They cannot mix. This is the same for our lives as a Believer. We should not mix our life with people of “good times” who do not desire to know and do God’s will in thier lives. Please do not misunderstand me. I do not mean in a way where we “shut out” those people. We must love them and share our love with them. We must witness to them and so on, after all, we live in the same planet as them. My point was how we spend our time with them– is it a lot? What do we do with our free time? Is it with them? To spend so much time and free time with unbelievers isn’t really a good idea.

1 Corinthians 15 makes an emphasis on this concept. It tells us not to think that it is “a no big deal” and that the unbelievers will have no effect on us. The verse warns us not to be decieved. It will make an effect on us. People that take pleasure in what is not good will have an influence on how you think, your attitudes, your tendencies,  or how you process your thoughts. We have to step up and be strong to take care of ourselves.

“Do not be decieved: “Evil company corrupts good habits.” -1 Corinthians 15:33

Last tip here, if you need help….ask God. Who is a better person to ask for help than God? He is a God who created you. God has said, “If any of you lack wisdom, saying to yourself, “I need wisdom”, go ahead and ask God for it.” God is not a God who practices favoritism. He is not selective on who to give wisdom and who to refuse to give wisdom to. God will gladly give to anyone whoever asks Him in faith. So, go ahead and ask God in faith for wisdom!

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting…”-James 1:5-6

I would like to close this with a quote that I like. “A mind is a wonderful servant, but a terrible master.” This quote is right. If our mind will follow our spirit, our mind will be good. We will be able to be in line with God. Our sprit needs to be the leader and the mind follows. When that is done, your thought process will be of God’s. But if your mind is a master saying to you, “I know how it is done, I’ve seen so many things and I have experiences, etc etc.” Your spiritual being will not be a master, but instead will be behind. Allowing your mind to be a master is not a good. Let’s make it our goal to make our mind a wonderful servant which will then lead you into a position that would be pleasing to God.

Have a good day and be a blessing to other people! :-)

Heavenly Finances 101

HEAVENLY FINANCES 101

I would like to share God’s perspective on financing, not worldly or secular, even from those who are very familiar with stocks, interests, and such. God, the Creator, should be the One to know something about financing.

Let’s see what He says. :-) I will present 5 facts.

FACT #1: 90% is greater than 100% or 90% > 100%

This mathematical statement does not make sense, but God says it is a perfect formula. When we give God our 10%, tithe (or more), God can do much more with our remaining 90% than we can do with our 100% ourselves.

This very much applies to my personal life. When I do my budget, including the cost of food, mortgage, car payment, et-cetera, it doesn’t match my income and I don’t understand how I am able to be financially alright, BUT I know God takes care of us through many different ways because we give Him His tithes back.

This 90% vs. 100% statement is very true. As stated in the Bible, God dares us to trust Him and test Him in that regard. This is the only place I know of where the Bible says to test Him.

Malachi 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Malachi 3:11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.

10% of what we have, we give it back to God and then God will open the windows of heaven and pour out His blessings upon us. Not only will God do this, He will also destroy our enemies that tries to mess up with our finances.

Wow, that’s amazing… what more can we ask for? Now, how does God open the windows of heaven? There are many different methods; by using other people, other family members, by job promotions, by miracles, and many other more. “How” isn’t the point, the point is that God will take care of your 90% better than you can with your own 100%.

FACT #2: Multiplication is easier than addition

Many elementary and middle school students will disagree with this statement. They will say that addition is easier than multiplication but to God, it’s not. God loves to multiply your blessings than adding them. In KJV, the word “-fold” means blessings multiplied.

In Matthew chapter 13, God says that those who understands His Word and follows it will receive blessings, understanding, improvement in fruits, characteristics, and et cetera. These blessings will multiply, not add. It is not 1 + 3= 4. God multiplies with 100, 60, and 30. The total with mulitplication exceeds faster than addition. It is quite obvious.

Matthew 13:23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

2 Cor 9:10 Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness…

God chose to use the word mulitply! Wow, what an awesome plan He has for us, for those who have relationship with God, who is a God loves to mulitply.

FACT #3:

Statement A: people have needs,

Statement B: God desires to meet His people’s needs,

Conclusion: God meets the needs of His people.

Bonus: According to His riches.

This statement uses logic. Like for example, all desserts are sweet. All sweets are delicious. Therefore, all desserts are delicious. This is the same principality that is applied. We have needs. God loves to meet His children’s needs. Therefore, God will meet His children’s needs. The bonus is, where is the need coming from? “According to His riches and glory.” God’s riches and glory, not ours.

Now, what are our needs? They are like bills to pay, shelter, food, transportations, and etc. These are not luxury, they are needs. Those are what God will meet. They’re needs.

According to His riches…ok, let’s back up a bit. Let’s say you meet someone who has $50 dollars in his bank account and that’s all he has. He tells you that he will meet all of your needs. What will you think of him? Will you actually trust what he said to you knowing that he has only $50 dollars? Will he actually be able to meet all of your needs? He will have already spent $50 dollars within a day or two when he tries to help you out. Will you feel good that this person is meeting your needs? No.

Now, let’s look at God’s. What’s God’s source? What’s His supply? God has a WHOLE lotta–unlimited supply and the whole earth belongs to Him. He says, “I will meet your needs according to my riches and glory.”

This is a good way to visualize how God will meet your needs. God will NEVER run out of supply!

Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Another verse here that shows God’s emotion of how God desires us to be successful.

3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

FACT #4: Receiving is directly proportional to giving

Basically this means if you are stingy with how you give, you will recieve a small amount. If you give abundantly, you will receive abundantly. This is a basic concept of sowing and reaping.  Maybe you will ask, “What/Where/Who do I give to?” Give to whatever God has called you to give to; to his Work, to His Church, to His Missionaries, to His servants, and to anything that glorifies God. This is considered “giving”.

This is the same thing with farming. When you plant three seeds and when harvest comes, you will only reap from three plants. Or, you can plant thousands of seeds and when harvest come, you will reap from thousands of plants. This is a basic concept, this is the same principality with God’s money.  God’s view is when you give abundantly, He will bless you abundantly.

2 Cor 9:6 he who sows sparingly and grudgingly will also reap sparingly and grudgingly, and he who sows generously so that blessings may come to someone else will also himself reap generously and with blessings.

FACT #5: worrying will not help.

This is probably the most important one. Worrying WILL NOT HELP YOU. Being stressful about how you will pay this, that, or whatever….WILL NOT HELP YOU. I want to make myself clear, I do not mean that you ought to just sit down and do nothing, not caring about anything and not doing your part. No, you must do your part.

Worrying is out of your control. Worrying and getting all stressed up is “no good”. The Luke 12 verse is one of my favorites.

Luke 12:25 And which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

Luke 12:25 And which of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life’s span? can you grow taller or live longer by worrying?

You will not grow taller by worrying. nor will you live longer! So why bother worrying?

Matthew 6:25 Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?

God wants to take care of you in every way. God wants you to be part of His family sharing with you His provisions and taking care of your finances. All you have to do is….let Him!

What more can I ask for? Whoo! Praise God! Have a good day!
