Man: Whoa! The scooter! Wow! Can I buy it? I’ll buy it! How much do you want for it?
Girl: ughh…$15 dollars for it?
Man: Hmm…Is it good?
Girl: Yeah.
Man: *takes money out of pocket*
Girl: It is fast.
Man: *pays for the scooter, observes it, then hugs it.*
Girl: Go on and try it, go on.
Man: Nah, I will just stay here.
Girl: Why?
Man: I’m fine, don’t worry. I’m OK. *continues to stand and hug his scooter*
Girl: Okkkayyyyy. *walks off*
Soo…what do you think of that person? He bought his scooter and he just stood there and hugged it. He did not use it for its purpose. He just hugged it. He didn’t even use it. You would think he’s a square-head, wouldn’t ya? There’s another example.
Man: *sits by cross*
Man #2: *prays with him*
Man: *gets up to hug man #2 and goes on to hug the cross.*
Man #2: C’mon, let’s go.
Man: *continues to hug the cross*
Man #2: C’mon. C’mon, let’s go.
Man: *still hugging the cross*
Man #2: Please come with me. Let’s help others. Please come.
Man: *still hugging the cross*
Man #2: C’mon, let’s go! C’mon!
Man: *still hugging the cross*
So, what do you think of that person? He became saved and then he hugs the cross. What do you think? I think the man is in the same page as with the man who bought the scooter but did not use it for its purpose, instead he hugged it. There are people who become saved and they just stay there by the cross, hugging it. It’s a waste.
The cross, what Yahushua (Jesus) did on the cross does indeed help us become saved. Yes, it is pivotal, but there is so much more than just salvation. A person who becomes saved then stays as he is, is the same as the person who hugged the cross and did nothing further. It can be compared to a person who buys something and does not use it for its purpose, but instead hugs it. This is called a “Tree Hugger”. Being a “Tree Hugger” isn’t worth it. Why do I say that it isn’t worth it? Because there are so much more to it– we become YHWH’s children. We are in His family. Because we are in His family, He becomes our Father. We should seek out what our Father wants us to do and move on to accomplish it.
“Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom.” -Luke 12:32
The previous Scripture, Luke 12:32 says that the Father has gladly given us the Kingdom. We have inherited it and we can move on with strength. It was completely HIS choice to give us His Kingdom. It is our choice to recieve the Kingdom and go on to do something in the Kingdom. Don’t just stand by the cross and hug it. There is so much more BEYOND the cross. His Kingdom reigns–it’s huge. When we hug the cross we are only experimenting very little of the Kingdom, only that of the cross. “Whatever I know, I’ll just stay with it and that’s it.” Don’t be afriad to move on!
In John 17:15, it says that Yahushua prayed to the Father saying for him not to take the disciples (people who are in the Kingdom of YHWH) away out of this world but rather leave them here and to guard them from evil one.
We need to know that we have His protection here on Earth and move on. We need to move on in this world where our purpose is. Do you remember when in another vlog I said that hadn’t Adam eaten the fruit, he would be alive today. He would be here in this world so this means that it is YHWH’s purpose for humankind to be on earth. Live it and move on in this world. Let’s keep that in mind.
“I am not asking you to take them out of this world but to keep them safe from Evil One.” -John 17:15
Now, I have a question. What two things can we do on Earth that we cannot do in Heaven? I will give you some time to think about it.
What two things can we do on Earth that we cannot do in Heaven?
Ok. Two things. The first one…as far as I know…this is what we can do on earth but cannot in heaven, including the new earth and new heaven.
1) We cannot SIN in heaven.
Here on earth we can chose to sin, right? The second thing we can do on earth but cannot in heaven is:
2) We cannot witness, share the Scriptures, and preach the Kingdom of YHWH.
We can do that here but not in heaven. Do you know why? Because in heaven, everyone’s already saved. Who do we preach the gospel of salvation to in heaven? No one. We just can’t, but on earth, we can.
So those two things we keep in mind…now, when we become saved– why doesn’t YHWH just take us to Heaven? There’s no need to stay here on Earth, but He doesn’t. He leaves us here on Earth. I suppose it is to do things here that we cannot do in heaven. We can do those two things here on Earth, but not in Heaven. Do you really think YHWH wants us to stay here on Earth so that we can sin? Doubtful. So I will take the first one off. For the second one, perhaps that is exactly why! To share the gospel, to preach the Kingdom of YHWH, and to do whatever He has called us to do.
“And this good news of the Kingdom (gospel) will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then will come the end.” -Matthew 24:14
The good news of the Kingdom is very important. It is more than….just the cross.
