The Stones Will Cry Out…
October 30th, 2007 |
Hey! The title of this is “The stones will cry out.” Not only is the Bible rich with scientific information, it is also rich with historical information and so many more. The Bible has been specific with the names of the rivers, mountains, tribes, nations, and so on. The information are vast in Israel, Iraq, Iran, Egypt and in that area. Those countries have rich historical information there. If these countries were not so war-stricken, many historical sites would easily be seen but because those countries constantly are in the midst of wars, many sites are destroyed and storms do come by and cover them. My husband and I would love to take our kids to these countries and expose to them all of the rich historical facts mentioned in the Bible.
It is really wonderful!
Before I begin with history stuff, I want to give a background information of something. When Jesus entered Jerusalem. His disciples were rejoicing and shouting. They were thrilled the Messiah, Son of God, had come into Jerusalem. The PHarisees who truly disliked Jesus, told people to be quiet and not rejoice. Jesus told the Pharisees that if He told the disciples to be quiet, the sones, instead, would cry out.
It is quite common that Christians will sit back and say nothing. They will just keep their hands tied and not mention anything about God. And the stones are starting to show up and cry out instead of us. The stones cry out that God is real.
I want to share three events where the stones have cried out.
“But Jesus answered, “I tell you, if these become silent, the stones will cry out!” -Luke 19:40
I am amazed that a non-living object will cry out instead of a living being–humans. I find it very interesting that the Bible specificially used the word “stones”.
The Bible mentions in 8 different chapters that there was a nation called the Hittites who fought with the Egyptians. But the nation “Hittites” cannot be found in history writing or non-religion literature. It has only been mentioned in the Bible and covers 8 chapters.
Really, in the eyes of the “seculars” if the historians do not mention the nation, it obviously never existed, or in other terms “a myth”. BUT praise God it is not a myth.
One historian claimed that there were no such nation as the Hitties and that the Bible had false information. To prove he was right, he went to the site that the Bible claimed they lived. As he dug, he shockingly found 40 cities, including their capital, along with a great number of mounments describing their activities. On one the mounments, there was a description of a treaty between the Hittites and the Egyptians that the Bible described.
Today a lot of historians and people have continued to find interesting artifacts and stories about that nation.
Who has cried out? The stones have cried out.

We know the famous story of the exodus of the Hebrews slaves from Egypt. Moses and the plagues. “God said, ‘Let My people go!”
The Bible tells us that the Pharoah of Egypt opressed the Israelites.. In the story, the Israelites originally built the city with clay and straw. Then, later, as a punishment, they had to gather their own straws. As a severe punishment, they had build bricks without any straw at all (Exodus 5).
Archeitures have said that there are no such cities as Pithom and Raames. It was nonexistent until one man discovered the cities. He said the interesting thing about the cities is that the lower parts of the cities were made with bricks that had straws. The upper part of the cities were made with bricks that had no straws.
The stones have cried out.

Walls on earth do NOT fall outward. They fall inward. The Bible says that Joshua and his soliders walked around the walls of Jericho for 7 days straight. The walls of Jericho is great, probably as thick as the Great Wall of China, (pics) not (pics). The wall of Jericho had was far strong and big than the wall of China. The City of Jericho had REAL protection.
God had instructed that Joshua and his soliders march around the city adn that on the 7th day, Joshua and his soliders must shout and sing with a loud voice praising God. Joshua and his soliders did that and the walls came tumbling down.
Many have said that this story is a ‘fable.” One does not walk around and have a city fall down flat.
But when the archeitures inspected the walls, they noticed it fell outward. A superior power caused it to fall outward. On earth, walls fall inward. Of course, God’s not dumb, He is going to make things appear differently.
The stones have cried out…….
