Attorney Defends God

September 29th, 2007 |

(I’m getting better with the quality of the video–still more work to go! )

Ladies, gentlemen, Judge, and the jury, my Client, God, has a lawsuit filed against Him on the charge of disrupting the world. My Client pleads ‘Not Guilty”.

My Client freely gave up His own Son to save the world. This surely cannot be the culprit. Of course He is not guilty. I will prove the Creator’s innocence based on two factors: the gift of freewill and exposing the true culprit.

The lawsuit filed for destruction of mankind was divided into two different disruptions: chaos caused by other people such as terrorism, rape, murder, and such. The other one is natural disasters such as hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquake, blizzards and etc. I would like to focus on the first one: chaos caused by other people. This is caused by others and that is where freewill comes in play.

God is the creator of this world, my Client admits that. He admits that He created the world but when he created the world, He set before all of us a multiple choice question. It was up to the people to choose. It is their own decision. God does not believe in pop-quizzes-surprising people. he does not believe in keeping secrets. He believes in giving us multiple choice questions with answers attached to it. He loves open book tests and is willing to review answers with you at anytime. If you had a teacher like that at school, surely people would say that there is no excuse for you to flunk the test. You’d pass it with flying colors.

Yet, the people have failed.

God has given us a test, with one question and two answers: A or B.

My Client has stated this, “This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses….” -Deuteronomy 30:19 AND THEN my Client gives the answer to this: “Now choose life, so that you and your children may live…” -Deuteronomy 30:19.

The choice was not my Client’s. It is ours. Now, because of that choice, some people have made a good choice and some bad.  This all leads to what we see today; disasters.

And we blame it on God, my Client. This is an error. Blame yourself.

Now to the second part: Natural Disasters. Often people think God is always in control and owns everything in this world.

Is that so? Let’s see.

When my Client’s Son was on Earth, a witness named Luke has shared with us some information.  He shared that A PERSON has shown Jesus all the parts of the world and has said that everything in this world is owned by him–OWNED BY this certain person. I repeat, this person said it was his, not God’s. “The devil led him (Jesus) up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of this world. And he said to him (Jesus), “I will give you all their authority and splendor, for it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. So if you worship me, it will all be yours.” Jesus answered, “It is written: “Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.” -Luke 4:5-8. Jesus did not bow down to the devil, of course.

This witness, Luke, tells us that someone else owns this world. Hmm?

We have another witness who wrote in a book, he stated that the god of this world, not captial “G”, but lowercase “g”, (My Client requires that He be called God, not god, with a lowercase “g”.) again, the book stated with a lowercase “g” and this would mean another person, not God, correct? Anyway, this witness wrote this: “The god of this world has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.”- 2 Corinthians 4:4.

We have several more different witnesses confirming each other. One witness wrote in another book, he stated this, “Be careful! Watch out for attacks from the Devil, your great enemy. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for some victim to devour.” -1 Peter 5:8

This ”roaring lion” is not my Client.

Now, then, who is it?

Good question.

That person is the devil. In everything, there are opposites. Hot and cold, light and dark, and so on. You name it and there is an opposite for it. It is the same with this situation. My Client has an enemy, an opponent. His name is Devil.

My Client feels offended that people are accusing Him. It is not Him, it is really the devil.

Lastly, does abundance equal destruction?

No, they are opposites. My Client has promised abundance. The devil has promised destruction. My Client’s Son came to this world and said He would give us abundance but there is someone else here, the devil, who loves to destroy.

This person, the devil, is the one that should be in court today, not my Client.

Ladies and gentlemen, this lawsuit should not be so.

Man Sues God

September 24th, 2007 |

(pardon the bad quality of the video. I’m still learning how to fix it right. :-()

A Nebraska Senator filed a lawsuit against God. http://www.theregister.co.uk/2007/09/21/man_sues_god/

Where in the WORLD did he get this impression that God is performing terrorist acts?

Watch the V-LOG or read the blog post.

Who’s really at fault?

I recently read a newspaper article about a state senator who filed a lawsuit against God. He feels God is causing harm to mankind by causing sickness, diseases, and natural disasters to happen. Such events like these causes death and reduction in mankind. This senator has a motive behind this lawsuit. His motive is mainly for “frivilous lawsuits”. That is something I am not going to talk about though I realize Americans love to sue.

I want to talk about the Senator’s thought process.

What made him believe that God is responsible for such tragedies?

Who gave him the impression that God Almighty is the very reason men are dying?

Do you know the answer?

IT IS US, CHRISTIANS!

So many Christians are proclaiming that God is out there to destroy this and that with hurricanes and tornados. They are believing that sickness and illness, even death, was given to them by God. They believe that bad things are happening to them because God “divinely” wanted it to happen. Too often many Christians turn to God and say, “Whyyy!!!”

Why are Christians thinking and saying these things?

Many and many churches of this era have completely (or partly) left the true teaching of the Bible. They’ve gone far away to follow men’s theories and ideas. Misinterpretating and establishing men’s ideas are the very reason why we have so many religions in Christanity. Too often they claim that they follow the Bible 100% but what they say and do don’t completely match.

There are very few chruches out there that actually interpret the Bible correctly. Unforunately many churches have gone off balance focusing too much on one thing or another.

Correctly interpreting the Word is what brings God into the midst of us. No way God would want to be in the midst of confusion and then say, “Yeahh, That’s Me, dude!” God does not lie, therefore He stays away from churches that have misinterpreted who God really is. He is not the author of confusion.

We have Christians here portraying God the wrong way and as a result, this senator has picked up the impression that God is to blame and that He is responsible for it.

Had this senator read the Bible or been around the RIGHT Christians, he’d know that God is not to blame for such events.

It is Satan. Satan exists. He is the god of this world, the Bible is very clear about that.

Too often many Christians brush aside the fact that satan exists. They sweep it under the rug because they don’t like discussing about it. But sweeping it under the rug is not going to make satan go away. He’s real and he exists. We have to accept that truth. Yin-yang is a symbol of good and evil. Evil exists and there is someone behind it and that’s not God.

God sent Jesus to save us and many times Jesus explained about satan. He only did this to help us understand and fight our battles better. Jesus has given Christians power to overcome the world but unfortunately many Christians have turned their fingers towards God and not using the powers gievn to them to overcome it.

The Bible states that the god of this world is satan: “Satan, the god of this evil world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe, so they are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News that is shining upon them.” -2 Corinthians 4:4 (NLT)

But, the senator….He’s suing God.

Check out this verse: “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. ” -John 10:10

This verse above clearly explains the things satan does; STEAL, KILL, and DESTROY. Jesus comes to give us life and much more!

Jeremiah, who always cried over Israel, wrote for God quoting Him, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” -Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV)

I really do have a lot more of verses but these are just a few.

The Christians are obviously at fault here.

Don’t get me wrong, churches are good, but what I mean is to go to a church where God is in the midst of it. That’s really important if you want to see God in your life.

God is love. He does not destroy us or cause such tragic events to happen to us. It is satan. He’s the one doing it.

“Be careful! Watch out for attacks from the Devil, your great enemy. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for some victim to devour.”-1 Peter 5:8 (NLT)

Clean up the mess under your rug so that your house is actually clean. Face the facts. Help unbelieving people like the senator see that it is NOT God who does such things.  Jesus died for so many things- for salvation, for healing, for peace, for joy, and so many more. This is exactly why Jesus said he came to give us an abundant life.

Why are we living our lives the opposite of what the Bible says we should? We ought to get up on our feet and do it right from now on.

When I read this article, I felt bad. This athiest only responded based on what Christians were saying. He also responded on what he saw– Christians MISREPRESENTING God.

The senator is not the silly fellow. It’s us. We failed our job. We’re the foolish one. We failed to represent ourselves as an ambassador for Christ.

I’d like to be God’s lawyer for this case and to say that God’s “not guilty”.

You’ll see a V-log soon on that. I want to share with you all on how GOOD God is! He’s really GOOD!

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” -John 3:16
